Using surface modeling in Siemens NX empowers me to craft organic shapes with preciseness. As I designed a water filter carafe, this software lets me shape sleek ergonomic contours, ensuring a good fit for the filter component. I started with exploring the shape by sketching and then imported the drawing into the CAD software.

Surface Analysis in NX

With surface modeling, I can optimize the water flow and usability while achieving an aesthetically pleasing form. It's not just about functionality - even though most water filters look like that. It's about creating a design that also meets the aesthetics of a lifestyle object.
